Christ Church Episcopal School Uses $40 Million in JEDA Bonds for Expansion, Improvements

The South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority (JEDA) has issued $40,048,291 in tax-exempt bonds for a series of expansions and improvements at Christ Church Episcopal School (CCES) in Greenville.

The Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds will finance the construction and furnishing of a new Technology Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship (TIDE) Building, a sports performance building, a sports field with amenities, parking, and an access road. Also included is a new loop road around the interior of campus.      

CCES was founded in 1959 and became a K-5-12 school in 2002. A student enrollment of 1,225 is served by 223 faculty and staff. Twelve new jobs are expected to be created.
