JEDA Issues $21.3 Million in Bonds for Orangeburg High School for Health Professions

Orangeburg, SC — Orangeburg County

The South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority (JEDA) has issued a $21,265,000 bond for the Orangeburg High School for Health Professions.

The Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds will be used to build a 30,000-square-foot expansion of the campus at 130 Howard Hill Drive and refinance existing debt.

The public charter school opened in 2012 and partners with Orangeburg MUSC hospital and Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College to prepare students to begin careers immediately after graduation and to continue to four-year universities or colleges.
